Roughly 30 miles from the heart of downtown Fort Worth, Carrollton is one of the largest suburbs in the area, with a population of over 120,000. Coyote Ridge Golf Club is a few miles of north and also shares the same distinction as Indian Creek of being a top public golf course in the area. Although it’s considerably shorter than the other featured courses in Carrollton, the layout is tricky and provides plenty of interesting shots to navigate. Aside from a great golf course, Coyote Ridge is also well-known for its luxury clubhouse. At over 26,000 square feet in size, the clubhouse is a rare architectural gem for a golf course open to the public, and features two dining rooms, a Grand Ballroom, and the fantastic restaurant Grill 19. Coyote Ridge offers an amazing monthly membership program, making it the most affordable and best golf value east of Fort Worth. Houses for sale near Coyote Ridge Golf Club feature traditional brick construction and the general area prices are averaging around $135 per square foot. Carrollton is home to a variety of ethnic cuisine and known for it in the greater North Texas region. Amazing Jamaican cuisine can be found in the casual The Island Spot, and Los Lupes offers a delicious lunch buffet along with traditional Hispanic cuisine. Mary Heads Carter Park offers a synthetic turfed and covered playground along with plenty of trails for walking and biking. When the summer heat is intense, take the kids to Oak Hills Park, where their Splash Pad will cool them off in a fun environment. A nice feature of the area is the diversity in pricing from inexpensive homes all the way up to, what can be considered by most, estates.

Bordering Carrollton to the east is one of the more affluent suburbs east of Fort Worth. The course is less than 6,600 yards, it’s an incredibly affordable course compared to others in the D/FW area. Riverchase Golf Club offers a Performance Program, a monthly subscription service that allows players access to unlimited range balls and a flat fee for afternoon play.

This program makes the course even more accessible for beginners and anyone looking to improve their game. The club also offers a great bar and grill, perfect for watching the game after your round of golf. The real estate near Riverchase Golf Club is replete with gated communities; there are many types of homes from traditional custom homes and to model homes perfect for a large family or single person with a friends galore. Surprisingly, the price per square foot of this golf course community is lower than many other subdivisions in Coppell. Those who love golf course views and easy access to a fun golf facility can find an incredible home around Riverchase Golf Club. Less than 20 miles from the center of Fort Worth, North Richland Hills is one of the closest cities east of the Fort Worth area. With a population of nearly 70,000 people, North Richland Hills has seen a roughly 10 percent increase in size over the last twenty years, and the housing market is constantly changing because of influx of people moving here on a daily basis. From an Endless River to the exciting wave pool and everything in between, this is one of the most expansive water parks in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Your family and friends, during the summer time, will have a healthy mix of excitement and relaxation at NRH20.

A short drive from Iron Horse Golf Club you will find local favorites lik: Bosses Pizza Wings and Burgers, regional staples like Fuzzy’s Taco Shop whose first location was on TCU’s famous Berry St. near where the old ‘Hop’ Restaurant and the locally famous music venue the Aardvaark was located.Those who crave British fare can find a variety of dishes at From Across the Pond, and The Hideout is an ideal location to watch your favorite sports teams with friends.
